We specialise in the propagation of plants in-vitro (plant tissue culture) for the Wholesale Plant Nursery Industry, Agricultural Industry and Bio Fuel Industry.

Located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, we are proudly an Australian owned and run business. Established in 1998, Spektrum Culture began as one of few plant tissue culture laboratories in Australia. We have seen many laboratories come and go, but Spektrum Culture has remained and expanded to an international standard. Having a European influence, we can provide a diversity of insight and a wealth of experience in the propagation of plants in-vitro.

While we do specialise in the commercial production of our current range of plants, we are constantly expanding and are regularly initiating new plants in to our laboratory. If we do not stock the plant you are looking for, we can initiate it if it meets our requirements.

Our expertise also extends in to the greenhouse. For those not confident or experienced in de-flasking tissue culture, we can offer guidance and if required, a de-flasking service. Deflasking is the transition of plants from the laboratory to the greenhouse where hardening off of the plants is needed.
